Terms of Service

The service
CityGrade, operated by Arventra Technologies, republishes food establishment health inspection records from official city and county open-data portals and presents them in an easier-to-read format. CityGrade is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency.
Data accuracy
Inspection records originate from government sources and are synced on a regular schedule, but they can lag real-world conditions, contain errors in the source data, or be affected by technical issues. Where a letter grade is derived from a numeric score rather than published by the city, it is labeled as derived. CityGrade is provided for informational purposes only and is not professional, legal or food-safety advice. For the authoritative record, always consult the official city source linked on each city page.
Acceptable use
You may browse and search CityGrade freely. You agree not to scrape the service at disruptive volumes, attempt to access owner accounts or administrative areas without authorization, misrepresent ownership of a listing, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Owner accounts and listing claims
CityGrade for Owners lets verified owners monitor their own public listing. By submitting a claim you represent that you are authorized to act for that establishment. Claims we cannot verify may remain pending or be rejected. A verified claim does not change, hide or remove any public inspection record — owners cannot edit, delete or influence grades or violations shown on CityGrade.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid features are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. New subscriptions may include a short free trial; you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arventra Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on inspection data shown on CityGrade.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
